Apparently there was a question about
the correctness of the address for A Troop in Afghanistan. This was
the address published in the last newsletter (Winter 2008 – January
2008). To anyone that has sent a care package to our deployed
troopers, the address in the newsletter is correct. If you have not
heard from someone to whom you sent a package, and you included your
contact info in the package, it may be that they have not been able
to respond as yet.
Additionally, the Troop is preparing to split their current base of
operations into two new locations. Plus the Troop will gain new
Troops and loose some folks to other jobs. This information is as
of Monday the 31st of March.
Please do not mail anything to the
Troop after 3 April, until we get thumbs up from CPT Camarano that
they have the new base of operations established and prepared to
receive mail. At that time he will advise as to who is where and as
to who has joined the Troop.
As more information becomes available from Mike Talton and CPT
Camarano, I will relay it onto you via email. Updates will also be
posted in the next newsletter. Thank you.
